# 2.1 Agile Kompas voor Onderwijs
Van 18 april tot en met 20 april 2016 kwam een groep gepassioneerde Agile Onderwijzers samen tijdens de Scrum Gathering in Orlando, Florida. Hun focus lag op het besef dat traditionele leermethoden niet langer voldeden aan de behoeften van de veranderende wereld en de unieke vereisten van individuele leerlingen. Zij, samen met vele anderen, streefden ernaar om authentiekere en flexibelere onderwijsbenaderingen te creëren die zich konden aanpassen aan de behoeften van leerlingen, onderwijzers en onze snel evoluerende wereld.
Collectief gaven zij geboorte aan het Agile Kompas voor Onderwijs, een hulpmiddel ontworpen om ons te helpen een onderwijssysteem te bouwen dat snel kan reageren op het steeds veranderende onderwijslandschap. Specifiek was het doel van het Agile Kompas om Agile waarden binnen de onderwijsgemeenschap te installeren.
De individuen verantwoordelijk voor het creëren van het Agile Kompas omvatten Arno Delhij, Guido van Dijk, Mark French, Erin Horn, Marmy Kodras, John Miller, Tomis Parker, Martin Peters, Robert Rodenbaugh, Krissyn Sumare, Marian Willeke, Willy Wijnands, en Mike Vizdos (die fungeerde als de facilitator).
